Advance NDE/NDT
From construction sites, pipelines, and refineries to shipyards and nuclear power plants, ensuring the reliability of your processes and equipment is crucial. Our non-destructive testing (NDT) services provide thorough or sample examinations of your assets using meticulously designed procedures and highly trained, certified NDT inspectors. This enables us to deliver comprehensive and valuable data, empowering you to make informed decisions in managing your assets.
Computed Radiography (CR) uses phosphor-imaging plates instead of film to store radiographic inspection results. CR imaging plates are exposed as per standard radiographic testing, but the images are laser scanned from the plates into a computer system. Using powerful software one can then analyze, print and store the images for future review.
Enjoy safer testing with CORE’s Digital Radiography (DR) and Computed Radiography (CR) services. DR is a form of x-ray imaging where digital x-ray sensors (DDA) are used instead of traditional photographic film; CR uses a flexible phosphor Imaging Plate to capture digital images in place of photographic film. The resulting digital images can be emailed for additional analysis and enhanced to aid in interpretation of test results. Creating digital files also eliminates risks from exposure to silver-based film or chemicals. CORE’s DR takes less energy to operate, resulting in smaller exclusion zones and the elimination of RT windows. In addition to being safer this also results in faster, more informed decision making, a clear understanding of next steps and significant cost savings.
